u3a NETWORK LINK SPRING EVENT, February 5th, 2025, 1000-1230
The Network Link Team have an exciting meeting planned and would like to invite you to
The Network Link Spring event, to be held via Zoom, on Wednesday February 5th, 2025,
1000 to 1230.
Our next meeting will be on 5th February at 10am on zoom. The meeting is open to all u3a members so if you cannot attend, please encourage someone else to come along in your place.
Our first speaker will be John Butler. John is part of the Let’s Talk Tech team on Facebook and will discuss how LTT came about, how it developed and the way in which its meetings on Facebook and the website are useful to members.
Our second speaker is Iain Cassidy, CEO of the Third Age Trust. Iain became CEO of the Third Age trust in October and is keen to meet as many members as he can. He will outline his vision of the future for the u3a movement.
Both Iain and John are willing to take questions.
As usual we will end with a chance for you to “Air and Share”. Let me know in advance that you have something you want to raise, and I will call on you to speak at the meeting.
Attendance is free, and open to all u3a members from all u3as.
