Subject to confirmation, meetings will be at 2.00pm to 3.30pm on 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at The Sale pub, 131 Marsland Road, Sale.

The Beginners French Group was originally offered as a 10 week introduction to the French Language. The aim was to cover the very basics eg The alphabet, numbers, greetings introductions, colours etc with the emphasis on member participation. 

At the end of the 10 weeks the group agreed to continue and a more structure approach was agreed upon. A text book was adopted.

To date we have just covered two units. It’s early days.

We meet in The Sale Hotel in the ground floor snug.

There is no charge for the room on condition we buy a drink.

The management at The Sale has been was helpful and it is a very comfortable environment. We aim for a relaxed co operative learning environment.
