The Sale u3a guitar group is a bunch of like-minded folk who simply enjoy strumming along to popular well-known songs from yesteryear. We don’t focus on any theory or any music reading, although we might slip in a bit of TAB occasionally, and we mainly learn guitar chords to strum and sing along together. Our song collection comes from group suggestions and printed music sheets are provided as well projected on a large screen.

So if you don’t know your B sharp from your C Flat, come and have some fun with us – and with tea and biscuits also included there’s nothing not to like!  Bring along your acoustic guitar and you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome !

We meet on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, 2.30pm - 4.30pm at the Sale Moor Community Centre. (except August when the centre will be closed)

You are welcome to come for a taster session and see/hear what we do.

If you need further information about our group, you can contact our Group leader: Brian Durham
